Physics Question 9

In the image is the velocity time graph for a train moving between the station x and station y. The distances the train traveled in the time intervals t_1,t_2 and t_3 are respectively 3km, 11km and 2km. Find the maximum velocity of the train.

Physics Question 8

A particle is projected horizontally from the top of a building in a velocity of 15ms-1. It hits the ground 45m away from the bottom of the building.
  1. What is the height of the building?
  2. What is the angle it creates with the horizontal when it hits the ground?

Physics Question 7

A particle projected from the ground travels a maximum height of 20m. It's horizontal range from the projecting point is 60m.
  1. Find the projectile velocity and the projectile angle of the particle.
  2. If the particle stays 15m of height from the ground at any two points, what is the horizontal range from between the two points?

Physics Question 6

A little ball hanged by a string is made to oscillate. After that, when it passes the the lowest point it can pass in its motion the string is cut. If the ball moved in a height of 5m from the ground in a velocity of 0.8ms-1 at this moment,
  1. What is the time that takes for the ball to fall on the ground?
  2. What is the horizontal range passed by the ball?

Physics Question 5

A ball is projected in an angle of 30 degrees from the horizontal in a velocity of 320ms-1 upward.
Find,
  1. The time taken for it to come to the maximum height,
  2. The horizontal range that takes to come to the maximum height,
  3. The maximum horizontal range that can be achieved with this velocity(The projectile angle is unknown),
  4. To achieve this horizontal range, what is the angle the ball has to be projected.

Physics Question 4

From a motionless helicopter a parachute jumper jumps with a motionless position (which means that the velocity is 0ms-1). He tries to open the parachute, but it does not open in the needed moment. There is a vehicle with a metros for his safety stopped 500m away from the point he is about to fall. At this particular  moment the vehicle's machines show that he is falling at a velocity of 10ms-1 and is 600m up from the ground.
(Consider that the vehicle can stop immediately at any location it wishes to, the resistance of the air is zero and the gravitational acceleration is 10ms-2)

At the particular moment the vehicle starts moving. To come to the place where the parachute jumper is about to fall what has to be the minimum constant acceleration of the vehicle?

Physics Question 3

From a helicopter situated 600m of height from the earth, a bomb is slightly dropped to the ground. A soldier sees this in the very moment and he straight away fires a rifle bullet, which is velocity is 120ms-1.
  1. What is the time taken for the bullet to hit the bomb?
  2. When the two impacts what is the height to them from the earth?
  3. If the bullet rifle didn't hit the bomb, after another two seconds, he fires again in the same velocity. When it hits the bomb what is the height for the bomb from earth?
  4. If the bullet didn't hit the bomb as in the third question, after two seconds the soldier runs at a speed of 7ms-1. When the bomb fall on the ground how long can the soldier run?

Physics Question 2

When a balloon that travels directly upwards is 20m high from the ground, it's velocity is 5ms-1. At this moment a thing is released downward from it.
  1. After 1s and 2s, what are the positions(from the ground) and the velocities of the thing?
  2. After how long will the it hit the ground? And at what speed?
